We’ve all been there, spent too much time applying a face full of makeup in the comfort of your room only to step outside and feel it melt away!
Follow these five steps below to get you out the door looking natural and not like you’re trying to replicate Queen Bey.
Make the time to prime
Applying a pea sized amount of primer under your foundation will help to keep it from shifting through out the day.
Less is Best
Try applying your liquid foundation with a damp beauty blender. Dot the foundation on your face in a few areas then with the damp sponge blend it in with dabbing motions using the pointed end for easy application around your eyes and nose.
Waterproof Mascara
Now if you’re not into waterproof mascara because it’s often stubborn to remove try applying a coat of normal mascara then adding a coat of waterproof on top, this should make removal easier for you at the end of the day!
Cream Blush
Opt for a cream blush to give you that summertime glow as the powder kind and perspiration don’t mix.
Translucent Powder
Use a large fluffy brush to apply a light dusting of translucent powder this will set your makeup and help to minimise shine. If you are on the shiny side, toss some blotting papers in your handbag to frenshen up throughout the day, this is a better option then adding more layers which will likely just melt and shift around
